I recently read this work and wanted to briefly spread its message.
This book is a pointed and precise read where the length (119 pages) adds to the enjoyment of the work. With so many self-help books available in the market, it is refreshing to find one that gives me a new perspective. Detect, Assess, Neutralize, Choreograph, and Engage, or D.A.N.C.E. is a process that I can follow. If the book was longer it would take away from its simplicity, and the length would take away from its message. The examples and explanations therein are spot on.
Having struggled with mental health issues on and off for years, I am always looking for new ways to attack the same grind of life. This book almost borders on the practices of Stoicism. One cannot control what happens, only how to respond.
An easy enough read, recommended to those looking for peace in life. I completed the ebook on a plane from Kansas City to New York and afterward had one of the best walks in Central Park when I got back to the city. Thank you Francesca Flood.
